This simple project makes keeping track of shoppinglists, invitations, notes and cherished photos fun andadds a special decorative touch to your kitchen, bedroom or office.(Note: 3M Spray Adhesive is used for Step 1 only. Steps 2 - 4use glue gun and glue sticks or thick, white craft glue.)
- 1. Using yardstick and sharp pencil, mark and score a 1" framearound the foam sheet. Scored lines should be felt throughfabric. Using Spray Adhesive, glue 16-1/2" x 10-1/2" floralfabric to center of sheet, smooth flat. Use nail file to tuckfabric edges into scored lines.
- 2. Using white craft glue or glue gun, glue batting strips tofront and edges of frame. Cut two 4" x 22" and two 4" x10-1/2" strips of green fabric. Place 22" strip over one longedge of frame and tuck 1/4" seam into score lines. Wrap otherside of strip to back of board; glue to secure. Repeat withremaining 22" strip, then two shorter, 10-1/2" strips.
- 3. Cut four, 13" lengths violet ribbon and pin diagonally toboard, evenly spaced. Glue ends of two corner ribbons to backof board. Apply glue to ends of two center ribbons and tuckinto score lines. Repeat with purple ribbon, placing on theopposite diagonal and weaving ribbons over and under violetribbons. Pin remaining violet ribbon to back of board to make hanger.
